Please make certain that we have your correct
insurance information so we can help you with certification
and second opinion if mandated. Please learn about your co-pays
and deductibles. |

Two days before your surgery, you should be only
on soft diet. 24 hours before surgery, you should only be on
clear liquids. You should not eat or drink anything after midnight
the day before surgery except antibiotics and your regular medicines. |

Two days before surgery, start taking antibiotics
as prescribed. |
|
|
| 5. |
One day before surgery drink the laxative as prescribed
until it is all gone. |
|
|
| 6. |
If you are on Coumadin, Aspirin, or Advil-like
drugs please stop for at least 5 days before your surgery. Also,
please stop taking Plavix 7 days before your surgery. |

| 7. |
The hospital will schedule preadmission testing
with you directly. |
|
|
| 8. |
Please come to the hospital 3 hours prior to surgery
time. |
